Mauritius: Education Has Different Views Thus Constant Dialogue Is Essential, Says Minister

Education has different voices, different perspectives and views and it is important that we remain in constant dialogue with one another, said the Minister of Education and Human Resources, Tertiary Education and Scientific Research, Mrs Leela Devi Dookun-Luchoomun, yesterday at the Mauritius Institute of Education (MIE), Réduit, Mauritius.

The Minister was speaking at the opening ceremony of the Distance Education and Teachers Training in Africa (DETA) Conference 2015 which is focusing on the rich educational diversity of African contexts. Hosted by the MIE, the five-day event which is in its 6th edition, is bringing together representatives from 19 African countries.
