Khartoum — Sudan's gum-Arabic export in the first half of the current fiscal year has reached about 34,000 tons bringing in approximately $50million to the national coffer.
According to the Secretary General of the Sudan Gum Arabic Council, Dr Abdul Magid Abdul Gadir, 23 tons of this produce is of talha (acacia seyal) type while the remainder was from acacia Senegal (hashab).
