Tanzania: Ministry Calls for Regular Teacher Training On ICT

Bagamoyo — Commissioner for Education in the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, Professor Eustella Bhalusesa has called for regular tutors and teachers' training on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in order to improve their proficiency.

In a speech read on her behalf by Acting Commissioner of Education, Benjamin Kulwa, when officiating at the opening of a workshop for presentation and discussion of reviewed ICT competency standards for teachers in Tanzania, held in Bagamoyo, the commissioner said application of ICT is vital for education improvement.
