Algeria: President Bouteflika Conducts Partial Cabinet Reshuffle

Algiers — President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika on Thursday conducted a cabinet reshuffle, in accordance with the clauses of Article 79 of the Constitution, the Presidency of the Republic told APS.

"In conformity of the clauses of Article 79 of the Constitution and following consultation with the Premier, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, President of the Republic, Minister of National Defence has promulgated a presidential decree providing for a partial cabinet reshuffle," said the same source.

"Bakhti Belaïb was named as Minister of Trade, Sid-Ahmed Ferroukhi was appointed Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fishing while El Hadi Ould Ali has been entrusted the Ministry of Youth," the same source added.
