Africa: Invest in Automation to Spur Tax Compliance, Africa Told

African governments need to invest in automating their tax systems and ease compliance procedures if they are to enhance tax collection.

This is according to Sage International head of department, human resource and payroll, Gerhard Hartman, who says modernising and streamlining tax administration process in Africa make it easier for taxpayers to pay up and file their returns, thereby increasing compliance and transparency.
