Namibia: Walvis Bay 20ha Land Goes for N$10 Million

THE Walvis Bay municipality is in the final stages of selling a 20-hectare piece of land worth N$40 million for N$10 million, amid allegations that the successful businessman roped in a community activist who helped get the prized plot.

The land in question is near the old sewerage works, opposite the Dunes Mall development.
