East Africa: EAC Arts and Culture Festival to Be Held in Nairobi

Arusha — The East African Secretariat is in its final preparatory stages of this year's Arts and Culture Festival (JAMAFEST) scheduled to take place at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi, Kenya from August 2nd to 9th, 2015.

The event is expected to attract many people from the East African bloc, diplomatic missions, tourist hubs and media houses. This year's festival, according to a statement, is expected to promote dialogue and learning experiences between the discussants and participants. Discussions will be held on topics under the theme "Unleashing the economic potential of cultural and creative industries in the EAC".
