Nigeria: DSS Parades Pastor, 10 Runaway Prisoners Over Ekiti Kidnap

The Department of State Service in Ekiti State have arrested a self- styled Pastor, Mr Babatunde Balogun and some escaped prison inmates from the November 30, 2014 jailbreak in Ado Ekiti. Balogun was accused of giving 'spiritual cover' to a suspected kidnap syndicate of also sharing from their loots.

Parading the suspects in Ado Ekiti on Monday, the DSS State Director, Mr Duke Fubara, said the suspects had given confessional statements about their involvement in criminal activities in the state in recent times.
