Kenya: Machakos Embarks On Water Projects Worth Sh2.5 Billion

Nairobi — The Machakos County Government will invest Sh2.5 billion in water projects in a move that will see all homes in the county get piped water.

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua says the county intends to dig 1,000 boreholes by May 2016. He also says his government will complete digging about 600 new boreholes and 300 dams by December 2015.
