Kenya: MP Accuses EACC of Harassment After Vote to Fire Bosses

Nairobi — National Assembly Deputy Minority Whip Chris Wamalwa now claims he is being intimidated by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission after he successfully sponsored an amendment to EACC Act to send home the secretariat led by the Chief executive Officer Halakhe Waqo and his deputy Michael Mubea.

Wamalwa believes officers from the EACC were sent to his Kiminini CDF Office to harass them because of the amendment which is now waiting Presidential assent to come into law.
