Kenya: Journalists Goofed in Covering Obama's Visit

US President Barack Obama's visit to Kenya was a big issue not only for Kenya but the international community. Every part of the Kenyan society tried to get something out of the visit, including the opposition leaders, who were reportedly rebuffed by the President of the world's most powerful nation. Even ordinary Kenyans lined up along Mombasa Road and the Thika Superhighway at least to get a glimpse of Obama's limousine, the Beast.

The Kenyan media, however, was not so enthusiastic and our reporters goofed big time in telling stories around Obama's visit. It looked like the reporters were glowing in the moment for getting the rare opportunity to cover the most powerful world leader. Most were seen taking and posting their selfies with prominent people at the Sixth Global Entrepreneurship Summit on social media.
