Nigeria: Country Assumes Presidency of UN Security Council

Abuja ‎ — Nigeria has taken over the leadership of the United Nations Security council, a monthly rotational presidency that member countries share.

A statement by the head of Media 1, Tope Adeleye Elias-Fatile, permanent mission of Nigeria to the United Nations said the position starts running from the 3rd of August 2015.
