Damaturu — Five suspected Boko Haram militants and 10 villagers were killed during a night clash with hunters in Kukuwa-gari village, Gujba LGA of Yobe State yesterday. Daily Trust gathered that 32 militants stormed the village around 10:00pm and overpowered some hunters providing security in the village.
A resident who escaped said the attack was a reprisal after the killing of two Boko Haram members who visited the village days earlier.
