Nigeria: Insurgency - Prelate Blames Northern Leaders

Worried by the continued killings occasioned by the activities of insurgents ravaging, particularly, the northern region, the Prelate of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, His Eminence, Dr Samuel Emeka Uche, has said that the insurgency is traceable to criminal neglect by northern leaders.

Speaking to journalist yesterday during the recognition of service award of merit at the Wesley Methodist, he maintained that such neglect must be addressed and that with the continued killings in the country, it has become necessary for the government to negotiate with the Boko Haram sect.
