Uganda: Four Muslim Leaders Released

Jubilation marked by chants of Takbir, Allah'akbar (God is great) filled Masjid Noor at William Street on Saturday evening after police released four Muslim Tabliq clerics earlier arrested in connection with the killing of Muslim clerics in the country.

Hajj Jirani Ssemwogerere and sheikhs Muhammad Amir, Abubaker Male and Diriisa Mugerwa were released after spending three weeks in detention at Nalufenya Police Station in Jinja District.
