Nigeria: Nis President Advises States to Adopt Surveying, Mapping for Development

President of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS), Mr. Bern Omo Akhigbe, has called on states government to adopt surveying and mapping as the cornerstone of their administration's economic and developmental agenda.

Speaking at the 50th annual conference of the Institution held in Sokoto, recently, Akhigbe said this became necessary, as the growth and development of a state was directly proportional to the level of its mapping and surveying.
