Nigeria: Plateau - Combat Migrating Cattle Rustlers, Dig Orders Policemen

The collaborative strategy initiated by the federal government and states in North-East and North-West to rout the escalating menace of cattle rustling in the two zones may send the rustlers migrating to other parts of the country, especially Plateau State, in search of veritable grounds for their crime, a Deputy Inspector General of Police said on Monday.

DIG Kakwe Christopher Katso, who is in charge of the "F" Department of Research and Planning at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, spoke to Area Command heads, the Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and other unit heads of the police in the state, while on a visit to Jos where he also met with stakeholders.
