Nigeria: Forging Strong Aviation Regulator

Lagos — The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is no doubt the police of the aviation industry. It's the only body empowered by law to regulate the entire aviation industry; ensuring all operators meet international set standards.

Though the Oronsaye report had recommended the merger of all aviation parastatals into one and under the ministry of transport, industry experts have held that NCAA's case is peculiar and that action cannot be applied to it.
