Gambia's International Olympic Committee member, Beatrice Allen, has joined her colleagues in the Rio 2016 Olympics Coordination Committee to inspect facilities ahead of next summer's Games in Brazil.
Allen, sub-Saharan Africa's first female IOC member, will remain in Brazil for the three-day penultimate inspection from 10 to 12 August, 2015, amid growing concerns that the City is behind schedule for the completion of works for the XXXI Olympiad.
