Nigeria: Usman - We Inherited Staggering Debts

Director General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Captain Muhktar Usman said the agency is facing financial difficulties because of huge debt it inherited from successive administrations. He also spoke on efforts to improve air safety.  Excerpts:

Let me start with the missing Malaysian airliner, MH370. It is becoming clear that eventually there was an accident, it was a surprise for an aircraft to disappear without a trace in 2014; this modern time. Do you think such a thing can happen in Nigeria?
