Nigeria: How Telecom Firms Made N690 Billion From Mast Sales

Nigerian mobile operators have raked in N689.96 billion ($3.45bn) from the sale of mobile towers otherwise known as base transceiver stations (BTS), thus leading to massive fall in their capital expenditures.

MTN, Airtel and Etisalat have transferred their towers to third party infrastructure companies in the recent months.
