Tanzania: Shunning Bribery As Campaigns Set to Kick Off

YOUNG people are celebrating the International Youths Day (IYD) this year, at a time when Tanzanians are preparing for the fifth General Election since the reintroduction of the multiparty democracy in 1992.

The elections are conducted after every five years. It is almost impossible to avoid talking about "election" in any meeting now. Fortunately people have been discussing the upcoming polls in a positive way, mainly calling for peace and stability throughout the election period.
