Ghana: Catholic Bishops Frown On Homosexuality, Abortion

Abono — The Catholic Bishops' Conference, held in Accra last June, has frowned on homosexuality, a practice that has plagued many African countries.

The Conference, attended by bishops of the Catholic Church from across the continent in Accra, has, therefore, issued a communiqué to that effect, ahead of the Church's Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops to be held in Rome, in October this year.
