Nigeria: 'Nigeria's Future Graduate Must Be Equipped With Skill'

Chancellor and founder Gregory University Uturu Abia State, Dr. Gregory Ibe recently spoke with a number of foreign correspondents on his pet project now in its third academic year. Ibe a proponent of skill acquisition also had a message for the Federal Government especially on why financial aid and corporate partnership should be a major plank in accessing higher education drawing huge parallels from his US experience. Ibe spoke with NDUKA NWOSU at Valley Stream Park Long Island New York.

Gregory Ibe bubbles with the same zeal and chubby disposition of the young people in the university he founded. Ibe had called a get-together to mark a beautiful experience: an exchange programme visit of students of Gregory University at Langston University LU. On the Saturday event at the Valley Stream Park, Long Island New York, Ibe and his group brought life to the park with good Nigerian music Whizz Kid's 'Baby Pullover,' resonating in the air. His wife and daughter were busy making sure guests got the best attention in the open-air event at the park. Ibe himself was throwing cracks of humour and giving powerful handshakes to his visitors.
