Nigeria: Ogun Assembly Constitutes 20 Standing Committees

Abeokuta — In its bid to ensure smooth running of legislative business in the State, the Ogun State House of Assembly has constituted 20 Standing Committees to oversee the affairs of ministries, departments and agencies in the state.

The constitution of the committees was sequel to the presentation of the report of Selection Committee on the constitution of House Standing Committees, by the vice chairman and Deputy Speaker, Hon. Olakunle Oluomo after which a motion for the adoption of the report was moved by the Majority Leader, Hon. Adeyinka Mafe, seconded by Hon. Yetunde Adekanbi Sogbein and supported by the whole House.
