With the release of his album "Another part of me", Hervé Nguebo attracts more music lovers thanks to its soft layer melodies of jazz and with its flagship song 'Essoka.' Its inspiration comes from traditional songs and rhythms of the MBO peoples where he originates.
A student of late Jeannot Hen's, the artist first follows the footsteps of his mentor before responding to the call of the heart for a musical style that is a real tribute to the master. Composed, performed and produced entirely in Douala, "Essoka," attests to the talent of a mature, sensitive and accomplished artist.
