Uganda: Pension - State Assembles New Evidence Against Obey

New charges filed against former public service ministry officials provide new insights into the swindling of Shs 88bn in civil servants pension funds.

The three officials, charged and remanded again to Luzira by the Anti-Corruption court on August 19, include Jimmy Lwamafa, the former ministry of public service permanent secretary, Christopher Obey, former principal accountant and Stephen Kunsa Kiwanuka, the former director for research and development.
