Nigeria: Cash Crunch Hits Kogi Banks As APC Holds Primary

As the All Progressives Congress (APC) holds its Kogi State governorship primary on Saturday, there are indications that large cash withdrawals from banks operating in the state capital, Lokoja, may have created liquidity crisis for customers.

Checks conducted round major commercial banks in Lokoja, revealed that customers found it extremely difficult to withdraw above certain amounts across the counter.
