Sierra Leone Begins Ebola Free Countdown

Sierra Leone last week discharged its last Ebola patient as the country began a 42-day countdown to be declared free from the epidemic.

President Ernest Bai Koroma presided over a ceremony marking the discharge of Adama Sankoh at a colourful reception at the Mateneh Ebola Treatment Centre in northern Makeni District.
