Tanzania: Politicians Warned of Offensive Language During Campaigns

Legal and Human Rights Centre (LHRC) in collaboration with Tanzania Civil Society Consortium on Election Observation (TACCEO), have strongly criticised use of offensive and sarcastic language in the ongoing campaign.

The citizens have also been advised to stop booing their opponents in case they have expressed different opinion which might breach peace and lead political friction and political strife during and after the elections.
