Zanzibar — Coach Dylan Kerr conceded that Simba were below par as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to JKU in a pre-season match and attributed it to the absence of some key players who have joined the national team, Taifa Stars, ahead of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Nigeria.
Simba suffered their first defeat since Briton tactician Kerr took charge of the team, two months ago, after losing to Isles top division side, JKU, in a build up encounter played at the Amaan Stadium on Saturday.
