The Supreme Court of Liberia has placed a stay order on any proceedings regarding the status of the deal signed between the government of Liberia and the Liberia International Ship and Corporate Registry (LISCR).
The court has accordingly cited the government, LISCR and the Liberian Senate to a conference today, September 2, 2015, over the recent ratification of a deal between it and the latter.
