Nigeria: We Haven't Received N5 Billion FG Bailout Loan for Local Govt - - Kwara Govt

The Kwara State Government said it was yet to receive the N5b Federal Government bail out loan approved by the State House of Assembly for the payment of local government workers' salary and pension arrears.

The State Government, in a statement by the governor's Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Muyideen Akorede, said although it paid arrears owed to state workers with its bailout loan from the Federal Government, that of the local governments was yet to be released by the Federal Government.
