Wajir Governor Ahmed Abdullahi yesterday denied allegations his county government is involved in corruption and mismanagement of public funds.
The allegations arose in a July petition by six people to the Senate Public Accounts Committee. Appearing before the committee yesterday in Nairobi, Abdullahi said the petitioners are a "gun for hire" seeking to settle political scores.
