Southern Africa: State Secretary Wants Greater Rationalization of Water in SADC

Luanda — The importance of water rationalization in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the consumption of the amount needed to avoid wasting was advocated Thursday, in Luanda, by the State secretary for Water, Luís Filipe da Silva, who was speaking on behalf of the minister of Energy and Water, João Baptista Borges.

The Government official was speaking at an interview to ANGOP, on the sideline of the workshop on "National Week of waters of SADC-Angola from Vision to Action", organized by the Ministry of Energy and Water, in collaboration with SADC (Southern African Development Community), Global Water Partnership Southern Africa and Inter Press Service (IPS) Africa, taking place on 2-4 September in the capital.
