Algeria: Boudjemaa El Ankis Laid to Rest At El Kettar Cemetery in Algiers

Algiers — The master of Chaabi music Boudjemaa El Ankis, who died Wednesday at the age of 88, has been laid to rest Thursday after Duhr Prayer at the cemetery of El Kettar in Algiers.

The funeral of the famous performer of "Rah El Ghali Rah" was attended by a large crowd and some Chaabi singers, including Kamel Ferdjellah, and Djilali Kebaili, the son of Mohamed Brahimi (alias Sheikh Kebaili).
