Ghana: Volta Students Prefer Funerals to Books

Klefe — The Deputy Volta Regional Minister, Mr. Francis Ganyaglo has expressed concern over the way pupils and students in the Region have taken much interest in attending funerals and wake keeping in recent times.

According to him, the development should be a source of worry to stakeholders and that the attitude of the school children had not only affected the standard of education in the area, but has also become detrimental to their studies.
