About 5,000 tonnes of tobacco have been bought from farmers during the tobacco floors in Eastern Province this year.
Tobacco Board of Zambia (TBZ) regional inspector, Herold Siandula said that tobacco buying companies in the region spent about US$8.8 million in purchasing the produce.
