Casablanca — Western Union services are available in more than 50 countries and territories in Africa

The Western Union Company (NYSE:WU), a leader in global payment services, today announced the launch of their money transfer services in Swaziland. Western Union is serving more than 50 countries and territories on the African continent.

Western Union in collaboration with Interchange, a leading foreign exchange service provider, will offer cash-to-cash services out of its Swaziland branch in the capital Mbabane with additional outlets to be rolled out in Manzini.

The launch of Western Union money transfer services in Swaziland coincides with the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Western Union's presence in Africa. It highlights the growth of the company's Agent network on the continent to reach more than 34,000 Agent locations.(1)

The extension of Money Transfer services to Swaziland is a key milestone in Western Union's commitment to the expansion and development of its pan-African network which provides a critical link to the ever growing African Diaspora living and working around the world. The Western Union offering will enable funds transfers to and from Swaziland through its global network of over 500, 000 Agent locations in 200 countries and territories around the world.
