The Constitutional Review Committee, a joint Committee of Parliament, today agreed to deliberate and call for further substantiating information on six legacy submissions.
These submissions were made to the Committee in 2013 but due to its workload and time constraints, the Committee could not attend to them. A total of 13 submissions are outstanding but have been categorised according to their relevance to the Committee's jurisdiction. The Committee agreed to approach those responsible for some (six) submissions to establish if they are still valid or to provide further substantiations. In some cases the Committee might call for oral presentations and will make two days available for these submissions.
