Nigeria/Senegal: U-23 Eagles Plot Senegal's Fall

12 September 2015

Nigeria U-23 team Coach Samson Siasia is aiming to top Group B of the All Africa Games football men's event, as he leads the Dream Team VI against fellow West Africans, Senegal, this afternoon to determine the winners.

The U-23 Eagles already through to the semi-final with three points after beating rivals Ghana 2-0, while Senegal are on a point from a goalless draw with the Ghanaians. A point will consolidate Nigeria's leadership of this group and ensure they avoid hosts Congo in the last four and battle either Burkina Faso or Sudan, while Senegal will be looking out for at least a point to seal their passage to the knockout stage of the competition.
