Liberia: Clergyman Believes Liberians No Longer Trust Politicians

Slocum, Vice President for Planning and Institutional Development at the Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary says as a consequence of numerous unfulfilled promises Liberians now find it difficult to trust political leaders.

Williams. Rev. Williams who was a senatorial candidate in the 2014 Special Senator election for Margibi County said he introduced a new concept of reaching a formal agreement through social contract with the electorates when he promised that if elected 25% of his income will go towards the county development.
