Nigeria: PDP, APC in War of Words Over Amaechi's N300 Billion Libel Suit

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State is engaged in war of words with the rival All Progressives Congress (APC) over the N300billion libel suit filed against it, its chairman, Chief Felix Obuah and two others by the former Governor Rotimi Amaechi.

Amaechi had last Tuesday dragged the PDP, Obuah, and two others to a Federal Capital Territory High Court over allegation that he stole the sum of $757million or N80billion of Rivers State public funds and stashed them away in an account in his name in Bancorp Bank in Minnesota, United States of America.
