Tanzania: Two More Dead Pilgrims Identified, Named

The government has received two more names of Tanzanians that were killed following the stampede that occurred last week at the annual pilgrimage in Mina, Saudi Arabia, claiming more than 769 lives, the government has confirmed.

In addition, the government received the names of seven Tanzanian pilgrims who have been identified alive. The two pilgrims, identified as Athuman Mateso Chaulana and Ahmed Said Bawazir, bring to seven the total number of pilgrims who have so far been confirmed dead.
