Tanzania: 'Reggae Music Is Not Just Jumping'

Ten years has elapsed since Innocent N'ganyagwa, better known as Ras Inno released his last album. Since then he has been doing live performances here and there, of his previously recorded songs with the odd new one every now and then.

Currently, he is putting together the finishing stages to coming back with a new album called, "Love Story" and not quietly either. This announcement was publicly made; where else but at the Arts Council (BASATA) in Ilala-Dar es Salaam, last Monday, in the presence of a number of the centre's officials together with variety of artists. He was given the opportunity, once again, to bring the month's Jukwaa la Sanaa (Arts Stage) sessions, to a close, with some information about the 10-region tour and a small taste of the intended musical sounds, backed by his new band.
