Due to the freefalling Kwacha against the dollar and other major currencies, Zambia is expected to see the queuing for food stuffs which was witnessed way back in UNIP days coming back.
This time it is not about queues due to shortages as was the KK days but rather because of the high price for essentials. Our roving reporter captured this scene at Kabwe's Simba Milling sales depot along Freedom way and opposite the high court, where people queued for mealie meal which is costing K72.
