Zimbabwe: High Court Judge Orders Zanu-PF MP to Shut Down Illegal Mine

HURUNGWE North MP, Reuben Marumahoko has been ordered by the High Court to immediately stop illegal gold mining operations in Hurungwe as he does not have the right to mine in the area.

The order was passed after Marumahoko, through his company, Crevixs Mining Syndicate, filed an urgent High Court application barring the Mashonaland West mining director and the ZRP officer in charge for Karoi from interfering with their mining activities at Kachichi-Piltochry Estates.
