Kenya deserves commendation for its role in the process that led to the adoption of the Post-2015 Development Agenda. The new goals were adopted by 193-member United Nations General Assembly during the just concluded 2015 UN General Assembly in New York.
The new set of goals, although building on the Millennium Development Goals, are more insightful, with more focus being given to sustainable development, particularly for the developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
