Africa: Vice-President Expects African Maritime Strategy to Contribute to Peace of Gulf of Guinea

Luanda — The Vice-president of the Republic, Manuel Vicente, said on Thursday expects that the integrated maritime strategy of African Union for 2050 constitutes combined efforts aiming for peace, maritime security and stability in the region Gulf of Guinea.

Manuel Vicente was speaking at the opening act of the International Conference on maritime and energy security, an initiative of Angola, with the support of the United States and Italy.
