Sunday's South African National BMX Championships at Alrode BMX Club in Alberton, Gauteng will not only signal a return to action for the previously injured Kyle Dodd but the defending national champion is also relishing letting off some steam on the track after a disappointing recent trip to Rio de Janeiro.
With all riders' eyes on the 2016 Olympic Games, Dodd headed to the host city recently to catch a first glimpse of the event's new track however the journey ended up being more frustrating than fruitful.
